Championships to her collection of this season's victories

The Marathon category title holder wins the General Classification and wears the leader's red jersey

Daniela Veronesi and Torpado are this year's big surprises for what regards the “fat tire” competitions.

After winning the Italian Marathon Championship in Gualdo Tadino, Daniela has won the leader's Red Jersey at the Italian International Championships, which ended today with the race in Vermiglio.

In Val di Sole Daniela has concluded the fourth race, collecting the last points that she needed to win the General Classification. “I am very happy about this result. In a month I have been able to win two races in specialties that are very different from each other. Now my goal is to to keep it up and win other upcoming important races. I thank my team and the sponsor Torpado, which provided a bike that has performed beautifully”.

4th overall and 3rd among the Elites, Andrea Tiberi is slowly recovering from the hand injury. “My injury is a thing of the past but I am still not in top shape. On Sunday I struggled to stay at the front of the race, even though I achieved a good result. A couple more races and I will be able to find my rhythm again for my next big objective: the Italian Cross Country Championships in Pejo”.
